Alameda residents can dispose of hazardous household waste for free at a one-day drop off event on Sunday, July 17, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Alameda Point.

Sangha Presents Speaker on Mental Health
This Sunday, June 12, from 7 to 9 p.m., Alameda Sangha will present an evening with Andrew Chapman. Currently, Chapman teaches mindfulness-based therapeutic interventions at several mental health and addictions treatment centers in the greater Nashville, Tenn., area.
