I recently moved to Alameda and I started regularly birding Crab Cove as my “patch.” Before my move I had birded Crab Cove a few times and seen a Nuttall’s Woodpecker there.

Tube Closures Scheduled
The Posey and Webster Street tubes (State Route 61) will be closed overnight next week. The Posey Tube will be closed on Tuesday, May 23, while the Webster Tube will close on Wednesday, May 24. The closures are due to maintenance work.
