Caltrans has scheduled overnight closures of the Webster and Posey Tubes for multiple days in October for paving work. The closures are on weeknights only. The tubes will remain open in the daytime.

The Alameda High School class of 1957 is hosting its 60th class reunion on Saturday, Sept. 23 at the Elks Rathskeller, 2255 Santa Clara Avenue, use the rear entrance on the lower level.
