Encinal Women’s Water Polo defeated Alameda High in the West Alameda County League Championship on Oct. 30 by a score of 12-4.
“It felt amazing,” said Encinal junior Vivian Barber. “All the hard work all of us have put in this season…so thankful and proud.”

Alameda used to have a huge beach you could visit and frolic in? Here’s a picture of some kids just like you having fun in one of the pools at Neptune Beach. It used be near today’s Crab Cove. It even had two roller coasters, one of them was on today’s McKay Avenue.
