Vote ‘yes’ on Z

It is time to move Alameda into the current century and remove Article 26 from the City Charter. This type of language and super specific zoning regulations, now illegal under state law, is equivalent to putting traffic laws in a city charter. It’s not the appropriate place for that type of regulation and is better covered by other rules and regulations elsewhere in our municipal system. Vote “yes” on Z to clean up our City Charter and bring it in to compliance.
