The campaign for Measure D which, if passed, will protect Alameda parkland from sale or swap without voter approval, has announced a fundraiser for Wednesday, Sept. 19. The event takes place 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Dragon Rouge Restaurant, 2337 Blanding Ave., and raises funds to cover the campaign's legal and other costs. A silent auction, refreshments and live music will be part of the event at $20 per entry.
