From Feb. 16 to 18 students and staff at Rising Star Montessori School held a "Hearts for Haiti" exhibit featuring arts and crafts that the students made by hand, and then sold to raise money. The $1,111 raised will be donated to Doctors without Borders and to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief Fund. Art teacher Lissa Masters came up with the idea for the fundraising exhibit.
