A couple weeks after the earthquake in Haiti, Alameda High School held a fundraiser to support Doctors Without Borders, a nonprofit organization working in Haiti. Members of the Student Leadership went from class to class collecting donations from students and teachers alike. Some teachers matched the amount of money their class donated. The students raised $2,278.25. Ms. Sarvy, Mr. Friedman and Ms. Harrington's classes, pictured here with the Student Leadership, led the way in donations.
