Madeleine "Maddy" Delore, a member of the Alameda Island Aquatics swimming team, had an outstanding meet in San Ramon. Delore, right, placed first in each of her eight races at the Zone 2 Short Course Winter Swim Championships held at San Ramon's Olympic Pool and Aquatic Park. Delore was also the 10-and-under Girls high point winner for the meet and achieved an NRT (National Recognition Time) of 2:10.18 in the 200 free style. Maddy's feat is a repeat of her 2008 performance as an 8-and-under swimmer.
