Green and Cunningham are members of the Student Council at St. Joseph Elementary School that helped raise morethan $1,000 for Haiti. The St. Joseph Elementary School Student Council discussed ways they could help the victims of the tragic earthquake in Haiti. When they heard that people were in need of clean drinking water, the Student Council asked each family at the school to donate money equivalent to the price of a case of bottled water. The school was able to raise the money in one week, and a check for the entire amount was sent to the Red Cross of America.
