The winner of the 2009 Ghoulish Homes and Gardens Halloween decoration contest is 1813 San Jose Ave., which took 62.2 percent of the votes. Coming in second was 1310 Pacific Ave. with 24.3 percent, then 915 San Antonio with 10 percent, 1330 Bay St. with 2.1 percent and 1269 Weber St. with 1.4 percent.

Too scary for trick-or-treaters, maybe, but 1813 San Jose Ave. wins the 2009 Ghoulish Homes & Gardens
