Halloween was in the air at Franklin Park's West Lawn last Friday as members of Alameda Firefighters Local 689 hosted their Ninth Annual Pumpkin Patch. The firefighters offered free pumpkins to children ages 3 to 10. Elvis was on hand to greet the children as they entered the patch and selected their pumpkins to take home and carve in time for trick or treat.
