George Phillips, executive director, and Kathleen C. Woulfe, director of development and community relations, of the Boys and Girls Club of Alameda received the top MAC Gold Marketing and Communications Award for 2009 programs from Evan McElroy, senior vice president for marketing and communications at Boys and Girls Clubs of America, recognizing their club brand-building. George Phillips, executive director, and Kathleen C. Woulfe, director of development and community relations, of the Boys and Girls Club of Alameda received the top MAC Gold Marketing and Communications Award for 2009 programs from Evan McElroy, senior vice president for marketing and communications at Boys and Girls Clubs of America, recognizing their club brand-building. The awards were presented at a recent ceremony held during BGCA's 103rd annual national conference in Atlanta, Ga. The Boys and Girls Club of Alameda was one of 4,000 clubs nationally and overseas that submitted materials for the prestigious MAC awards. The team of experts who were instrumental in producing the award winning product include West Advertising, Pete Halberstadt; Gunderson Designs, Mike Gunderson; Left Coast Productions, Barbara Murray; Christine Buck Communications, Christine Buck; Excel Graphics, Bob Baker; and ABGC professional staff. |
