![]() The Alameda County Bar Association has announced its roster of leadership for 2008, under the direction of President Gregory A. Silva. Silva practices at Stonehouse and Silva in Alameda, where he specializes in family law and civil litigation.

Silva practices at Stonehouse and Silva in Alameda, where he specializes in family law and civil litigation. He earned his undergraduate degree from UCLA and his J.D. from Southwestern School of Law. In addition to Silva, the ACBA announced the 2008 executive officers President-Elect Charles N. Bendes, Vice-President Gregory D. Brown, Past-President Cheryl L. Hicks; and directors Michael R. Berger, Stephanie R. Bolden, Luz F. Buitrago, Erlinda G. Castro, Dennis Chin, Sally J. Elkington, Yasmin James, Paul R. Johnson, Arlene D. Kock, Daniela Lungu, Wayne S. Nishioka, Theodore T. Ting, Gregory J. Ward, and Thomas J. Ogas (Barristers). The ACBA will formally install its officers and directors at a reception tonight at the Claremont Hotel in Berkeley. The Honorable Robert McGuiness of the Superior Court of California, County of Alameda, will be the event's master of ceremonies. His wife, the Honorable Yolanda Northridge, Presiding Judge of the Superior Court of California, County of Alameda, will administer the oath of office to the incoming officers and directors. The installation of officers and directors will be followed by the presentation of the ACBA's Distinguished Service Awards. The Distinguished Service Award for a Judge will be presented to the Honorable Yolanda N. Northridge, Presiding Judge of the Superior Court of California, County of Alameda. |
